tastytrade was founded in 2011 and currently produces eight hours of live, original programming each weekday to provide financial information, investment strategies, and entertainment related to options trading and the stock market. At the time of the project kick-off in 2020, their site was using a ruby cms it was originally built with. We needed to rebuild the site so that all of their existing functionality would remain as well as adding key new features while also being able to support their thousands of concurrent users that access the site everyday.

This projects was built using the headless CMS Contentstack with Razzle (React SSR) for the frontend with a microservice Node.js structure for the backend all contained within docker. This project had a multitude of integrations and APIs it interacted with some of which included Auth0 for single sign on, Hubspot for tracking marketing data, and Brightcove/Beacon for the video data. In addition, webhooks were also integrated to trigger when Contentstack data was published. I acted as a key producer on this project.
